Papa Bears helps provide a way for male role models to become more involved at River Bend Elementary. Be a part of the heartbeat of the campus and serve our school and community with the Papa Bears!

Step 1: Apply to be a CSISD Volunteer
You must complete a College Station ISD background check to be a Papa Bear. They will only contact you if you were flagged or rejected (within two weeks of applying)
Step 2: Apply to be a Papa Bear
You must fill out the Papa Bear intake form.
This will help us gather all of your information.
Step 3: Join the GroupMe
Our primary way to communicate is on the GroupMe app. Join the conversation!
Step 4: Volunteer
After you are approved to be a CSISD volunteer and have signed up to be a Papa Bear, you will receive instructions on joining our GroupMe and how to volunteer for volunteer opportunities.

Making a Paw-sitive Impact
As a Papa Bear, you will have many opportunities to connect with your student(s) and other River Bend students.
We provide a male presence on the campus and provide extra support for the staff. Whether you are a father, step-father, grandparent, guardian, uncle, brother, or are involved in a River Bend child's life, we would love for you to become a Papa Bear!
Papa Bears can sign up for shifts throughout the school year. We can greet and unload students at morning dropoff, send off and load students at afternoon pickup, help with recess and lunch, or sign up to be an all-day Papa Bear!
